Site Manager Joe Platt of Morris Homes is a man with a passion: a passion for his work as a site manager, which has paid off in the shape of a NHBC quality award for his site at the Point development in West Derby.

“The NHBC awards recognise our passion for our industry and illustrate our commitment to high standards on the sites that we run,” he said.

Commenting on the award, Joe said: “The most important thing to Morris is that we create homes – not just houses – and that those homes are of a very high standard.”

Meanwhile the company’s efforts in sustainable design and construction have earned them the title ‘Green House Builder of the Year’ in the Green Construction Awards. Commenting on Morris, the panel of judges said the company had made a ‘wholesale commitment’ to the green agenda and were ‘leading the way’ for other house builders.
