NHBC win for Briars Chase development

Heanor Road in the large market town of Ilkestone, Derbyshire is providing the perfect backdrop for Briars Chase – a brand new development that has been constructed by Taylor Wimpey.

Situated in the stunning Derbyshire countryside, Briars Chase is nestled on the banks of the river Erewash, within commuting distance of both Derby and Nottingham and is close to the M1 and other major road networks. The project will take advantage of the surrounding area by providing prospective buyers with a wide range of homes to suit everyone’s requirements.

Briars Chase comprises an array of one and two-bedroom apartments as well one, two, three and four-bedroom houses. All of the units on the site offer stunning open views of the surrounding area and are being developed by leading house builder Taylor Wimpey, who is also providing all architectural services on the site.

As the development comprises a mix of property types the one-bedroom apartments offer contemporary open-plan living space along with an integral garage, whilst two-bedroom apartments boast an attractive and modern design with light and spacious full length windows.

All of the townhouses include en-suite master bedrooms, family bathrooms and downstairs cloak rooms with the four-bedroom units also including a Juliet balcony situated off the first floor lounge area.

Taylor Wimpey has a proud history in improving local communities through the development of unused land. The company achieves this by creating sustainable housing that both expands and enhances neighborhoods to create new and thriving communities.

Taylor Wimpey maintains a strong emphasis on excellence on all its work and sets a very high standard in the design and quality of their constructions as demonstrated by the project’s status as an NHBC award-winner.

David Holland of Taylor Wimpey recently received the NHBC award for the Briars Chase development.
