The Anderson Group celebrates 25 years

Anderson Group 25th anniversary

The Anderson Group recently celebrated their 25th anniversary with the unveiling of a specially commissioned piece of artwork.

The 80 meter long illustration – which has been used to decorate the hoardings around one of the sites owned by The Anderson Group – was unveiled by the city Mayor. The special artwork depicts the unique history of the company with various members of the team, including some of the longest serving employees, featured.

Andrew Jay, Managing Director of The Anderson Group said:

“We are delighted with the new artwork and feel it is a real testament to our achievements. We have grown considerably over the years and we wanted a unique way to highlight our journey and demonstrate our gratitude towards our staff. The piece of artwork is much like the Bayeux Tapestry; it tells a story and depicts some of the key characters and activities of the business since inception.”

Andrew added:

“We are very proud of our company’s history and we look forward to another successful 25 years.”

The Anderson Group was established in 1987 and generates an annual turnover in excess of £50 million from its involvement in construction, design and build, contaminated land, property development, sites in receivership and plant hire. Under the guidance of the founder and chairman Mark Anderson and the Managing Director, Andrew Jay, The Anderson Group is one of the largest employers in Essex and operates across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Kent, Sussex and London.
