With more than 60 years of experience in property investment, property sales and lettings, Middle England Developments is a property specialist with seven student sites across the UK as well as additional developments currently in the works.
The company’s portfolio includes Streatham Towers, Oliver House, Beacon Building, St Andrews Place, Arena House, Victoria Court and Alexander Terrace, amongst others, and each site has a proven success rate of 100%.
In December 2011 Middle England Developments launched St Andrews Place on Rodney Street, which gained both regional and national press coverage from the likes of the BBC, Granada and Radio City. Following the success of this property, Middle England Developments paid £1.8 million to administrators Deloitte for Crete Tower and Canadia Tower and then invested an additional £3.4 million to transform the buildings into new accommodation.
Split across the two blocks, Middle England Developments gave the buildings a complete overhaul to create 128 three-bedroom apartments. The blocks proved to be another success for Middle England Developments and sold out within three days, providing investors with an instant return on their investments.
Middle England Development’s latest site is The Richmond, 51 serviced apartments situated on Hatton Garden, Liverpool. Once work is complete on the project, the new development promises to become the most exclusive venue in the city.
Currently scheduled to open in March 2013, The Richmond boasts free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, a secretarial service and on call bar tenders. Planning permission was granted for the building in July 2012 and work began shortly afterwards.
Located within the iconic Richmond Building – formerly the Mersey Rail Building – in the heart of Liverpool, The Richmond provides spacious one, two and three bedroom suites. The Richmond has been designed to cater for all its guests’ needs, meaning it is the perfect place to work, rest and play and every apartment has been fully furnished to the highest standards.
Each apartment includes a stunning array of fixtures and fittings, from bespoke desks and chairs, to mini-bars and beds, as well as specially selected fabrics, lighting, tiles, flooring and carpets. Facilities at The Richmond include the Olympus Leisure Spa, whilst each serviced apartment offers luxury fitted bathrooms with double whirlpool bath, cinema/entertainment systems and fully fitted kitchens.
As The Richmond is situated in the heart of the city, guests at the apartments will discover that they are conveniently located just a short distance from shopping centre Liverpool One, Anfield Stadium – the home of Liverpool Football Club – and the famous Albert Docks.
To complete The Richmond, Middle England Developments is working very closely with KDP Architects and a number of select contractors, to transform the building into a state-of-the-art development. Middle England Developments has worked with KDP Architects for over three years and in this time have built a valuable working relationship which is the key to bringing this project together.
In addition, Middle England Developments is also working with Core Digital Media, Bond-Media and leading furniture manufacturer YTM Group to develop the correct style and brand for The Richmond.
