The global programme management and construction consultancy Turner & Townsend has announced the official opening of its Ugandan office in Kampala following marked growth in East Africa.
The Kampala office was officially launched at a cocktail event before the New Year at the Sheraton Hotel, Kampala, and was attended by the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Rt. Honourable Amelia Kyambadde, the Minister of State for Engineering Investment, Dr Ajedra Aridru, and the British High Commissioner, Alice Blackburne, alongside key industry representatives.
Commenting on the new office, Ian Donaldson, Turner & Townsend Managing Director, Africa, said:
“East Africa is one of the fastest growing regions in the world and there is a huge amount of opportunity to make a difference across a number of sectors, especially in the delivery of major infrastructure schemes.
