Warner Leisure Hotels have splashed out £4 million on “Best of British” themed accommodation in Sunny Suffolk.
The accommodation comprises of 18 seaside lodges and 20 eco-friendly lakeside suites located at two of Warner Leisure Hotels’ fantastic coastal villages in Suffolk.
Speaking about the development, Managing Director Richard Bates said:
“Waking up to a brilliant view of the sea with the sun shining is everyone’s holiday dream. We think our guests will love the idea of sleeping as close to the ocean as possible.”
He added:
“Each lodge has been custom-designed and built in the UK so we really are providing the Best of British breaks.”
The Clifftop Lodges at Corton Coastal Village are brightly-painted just like traditional beach huts and the lodges have a fun nautical and seaside theme throughout. Visitors can expect porthole windows, deckchair-style linen, ice-lolly cushions and paintings of sandcastles on the walls – there are also private patios, complete with deckchairs. Corton is the most Easterly point in the UK so guests truly get to see the sunshine first!
Set in woodland and close to a lake, the single-storey Garden Lodge Suites at Gunton Hall Coastal Village have been built using recycled materials and have a variety of energy-saving features.
Both Gunton Hall and Corton Coastal Village offer a range of chalet accommodation, leisure facilities and entertainment tailored for adults. Visitors can also expect all the mod cons, with TVs in the bedrooms and lounges, fabulous furnishings, a mini-bar and tea and coffee-making facilities. Both sites opened in time for the Easter weekend.
