Southwood wins big at NHBC

The multiuse private housing development in Northamptonshire has won yet another NHBC Award this year.

The project from Taylor Wimpey has been underway since 2008 and this is the fifth consecutive year that Project Manager, Craig Hurst has picked up a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Award.

Craig is distinguished from the scores of other site managers up and down the country having now won his fifth award.

“It’s very important to c onsistently get that recognition, it really means a lot”, says Craig. “I am only as good as the people around me.”

Previously a green field site, the multimillion pound development will provide a total of 180 properties when complete, 38 of which will be Housing Association homes.

A mixture of three, four and five bedroom detached and semi-detached homes will be on offer, perfect for young and growing families. This is in addition to a selection of stylish apartment’s ideal for the young professional.

Properties have been constructed using traditional brick and block methods and all are NHBC accredited, revealing their excellence.

“We are now nearing completion,” says Craig, “we are due to finish towards the end of this year; the development has run very smoothly and to schedule.”
