Dear Readers,

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we head down to Islington to peruse the mouth-watering beverages Hoxley and Porter cocktail bar has on offer; we check out Pizza Express’ ever expanding empire and explore their new sites; and take a sneak peek at a brand spanking new eatery slap bang in the middle of London Zoo.

Hoxley and Porter, in Angel, is a cocktail bar with a difference. Sporting drinks such as ‘Whatever Doesn’t Kill You’ and ‘Caribbean Inception’ the brand boasts an opulent train carriage, far flung drinks and promises to be an unforgettable dining adventure! Hoxley & Porter combines flavours of a Victorian gentlemen’s club and Colonial Poirot, with Egyptian noir and surrealist jungles. Acquiring its name from Hoxley, an intrepid explorer of Africa, and Porter, an exquisite diamond, the venue creates an interesting and inspiring mix of atmospheres transporting diners into an exotic world.

Meanwhile, founded in 1965, as one single London restaurant, Pizza Express has moved on immensely since its inception. With more than 420 UK restaurants and plans to add many more sites to its UK portfolio over the coming decade, Pizza Express continues to highlight the world’s love for great tasting pizza!

Eager to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of the restaurant sector, the company continually refurbishes and refreshes its existing restaurants, as well as taking on new sites. New sites include Pizza Express at The Fort in Glasgow; recently reworked sites include Pizza Express Bedford; whilst previously operating under the Ask name Hatch End and Lymington join the brand.

And finally, costing £4.6 million, The Terrace Restaurant is a brand new eatery for ZSL London Zoo. The restaurant – opened in July by Bucks Fizz star Cheryl Baker – seats up to 700 and serves up stunning views and scrumptious dishes to hungry visitors. Catered by Ampersand, a branch of Royal Warrant holders CH&Co, the restaurant serves up delicious dishes and builds upon ZSL London Zoo’s fantastic accolade of London’s Best Day Out.

Now with all that and more it’s time to sit back and enjoy this month’s Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!
