Paul McLachlan has picked up a second NHBC Pride in the Job Award for his work project managing the Taylor Wimpey development at Mallinson Park, adding to his tally of eight.

The award recognises Paul’s dedication to building high quality homes for new home buyers and ranks the project in the top 3% of developments across the UK.

Speaking to Premier Construction about winning yet another award, Paul said: “It’s the highlight of the year to win; we look forward to the awards coming up all year.

“Of course it is also getting harder and harder to win now because everyone is upping their game. We are just pleased to receive the recognition again.”

Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire adds: “Our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality, service and customer care has ensured that we continue to be an NHBC award winning house builder year after year.”

Located on the edge of Normanby, Middlesbrough Mallinson Park is mixture of four and five bed properties all fitted to a high standard.

Scheduled for completion in March next year, work has been progressing well with 60 of the 75 properties now roofed and fitted out.

“All houses have quite big back gardens and all have parking sufficient for two cars. There is also a public open space down one side of the development”, Paul said.

Renewable energy specialist, Aeris Solutions Ltd installed solar PV technology on each property on the Mallison Park development.

Commenting on their involvement, Steve Hewison, Aeris Solutions, said:

“It was a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a premier national house builder as it gives potential customers confidence that we are a reputable company.”

The development is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Teesside, with plenty of useful amenities close at hand. Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park is on the doorstep, giving a superb place to walk, have picnics or ride a bike.

If the outdoor life is for you, you will also appreciate the close proximity to the North York Moors National Park and the coast – with Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay being approximately half an hour’s drive.  Mallinson Park is found just off the A174, which puts the region easily at your fingertips, whether it is for work or leisure.
