Downwell Demolition has celebrated its 10th year in the business.
The company, which has numerous industry accreditations, has been in operation since 2003 after being set up by managing director Matt Phillips.
Matt commented: “I feel very proud of how the business has grown and am immensely grateful to my loyal & trusted workforce, both on site and office based, for their own efforts in establishing the company. Without the continued loyalty of my staff, together with a commitment to investment in continual plant modernisation, I genuinely feel that we would not have grown to the same degree.”
Given the recent economic conditions Matt, admits he could not have envisaged presiding over a business with a turnover now approaching £7million and a client base envied by many of his competitors. Throughout the company’s growth safety has always remained of paramount importance, as Matt explained: “I am also very pleased that we have maintained our impeccable safety record throughout the last 10 years, whilst growing at such a pace, and know how much effort has been expended to ensure we keep up to date with industry improvements in this area. Safety on site is of paramount importance and will always continue to be so.”
Matt added: “I fully expect to be celebrating many more anniversaries for Downwell and look forward to doing so.”
