At 11am on Friday 21st February, iconic British brand Harry Ramsden’s – which has been serving its freshly made food to generations of families for over 85 years – welcomed guests for the first time, when it opened the doors on its newest outlet.

Located at Welcome Break Oxford services (M40 Junction 8a), the latest Harry Ramsden’s made its debut during National Chip Week (17th-23rd February) to the delight of fans and travellers alike.

Joe Teixeira, CEO of Harry Ramsden’s, said:

“Following the opening of Harry Ramsden’s at Welcome Break’s Woodall Services in December, further developing this relationship presents an exciting opportunity for us. I’m sure the opportunity to enjoy our freshly made offering, which of course includes our world famous fish and chips, will be welcomed by the millions of hungry travellers who use the excellent facilities provided by Welcome Break.

“This opening also further underlines our stated intention to increase the presence of Harry Ramsden’s across the UK, building upon the myriad of fans we already have, by introducing the brand to a whole new generation.”

Rod Mckie, CEO of Welcome Break, added:

“We are delighted to announce the opening of one of the country’s most recognised brands at Welcome Break Oxford and I am confident Harry Ramsden’s will prove popular with our hungry customers.”
