In the Housing sector the firm has completed many projects including Market Estate, Islington, London, Century House (Arc House), Tanner Street, London and Myatts Field, Lambeth, London. One of the most recent projects they have worked on is the regeneration of the Stockwell Park and Robstart Village estate in Brixton, London. The £110,000,000 project for Network Housing Association included the refurbishment of approximately 550 new build and 552 occupied refurbishment properties, along with infrastructure and external works improvements.
The programme provided sustainable new homes, extensive internal and external refurbishment to existing blocks ranging from four to 15 storeys, and landscape improvements to the sites. As well as these improvements the project included the installation of new Biomass, CHP and Gas Fired Boiler energy centres which provide district heating to all new build schemes and some existing blocks being refurbished.
The new build was constructed on an existing site of garage blocks and comprises 58 units in a four and eight storey structure. Built to Code 3 and linked to the energy centre the building provides a stunning gateway building to the estate and delivers mixed tenure properties which provide opportunities for a diverse yet cohesive community.
