Bardsley Construction has been in operation for 50 years and is now an established company turning over more than Ā£50 million a year.

Priding themselves on efficient delivery and customer satisfaction the firm have undertaken and completed a plethora of successful projects across many different sectors.

These include public and private sector client groups such as Local Authorities, Education Bodies, Housing Associations, NHS Trusts and Health Authorities. The firms diverse workload includes the construction of education facilities, medical centres, leisure facilities, sporting facilities, offices, industrial and retail premises not to mention over 800 homes built for their wider client base over the last six years.

Bardsley carry out design and build, as well as traditional contracts that can vary in value; so far the company have totalled over Ā£120 million of contract value. The team pride themselves on securing repeat business from clients with whom they have a longstanding relationship.. 80% of their contract workload has been secured from repeat clients to date.

Bardsley are currently involved in a project to provide 125 new apartments in the old Grade II ListedĀ Salford Town Hall andĀ Magistrates Court inĀ Salford. The firm is undertaking the Ā£6.7m project on behalf of X1 Developments and works are due to complete by August 2015.

Another project that is onsite is the internal fit out of 231 apartments and communal spaces atĀ The Rock, Bury; amixed-use scheme comprising a shopping, dining, leisure and residential offering. Bardsley began works on site in January this year and the projected completion date is July 2015.

Bardsley are carrying out a range of works at The Rock including the construction of partitions to form the apartments, M&E installation to all areas, new lifts, staircase finishes, internal apartment finishes including kitchen, bathrooms and full decorations.

The team is also midway through a contract atĀ Newcastle Under Lyme CollegeĀ for the Design and Construction of their new Performing Arts Centre. The BREEAM Excellent rated building will comprise a single storey, steel framed structure and will contain teaching rooms, performing arts spaces, theatre, music studios and student canteen areas, complete with all associated external works. The scheme is due to complete in October 2014. The team are on track with the project and are happy to be undertaking their first project with NULC.
