Dear readers,

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Construction: Channel Islands Construction Focus.

First up under the spotlight is Les Residences development, comprising four luxury properties on the edge of Jersey’s beautiful south east coast. Owned and developed by successful property developers Trinity Estates, the £3.25 million properties overlook the Gorey Harbour and boast stunning un-interrupted coastal views.

The three storey houses have been built using traditional block construction with solid concrete floors giving good thermal and sound insulation. The exterior and landscaping has been undertaken using high quality, modern materials giving the properties a luxury feel. Main contractors Hacquoil and Cook are working in cooperation with Page Architects and T & G Structural Engineers.

House builders Grange Developments are also in focus this edition as we explore the firm’s latest developments including The Yews, Fremont Du Nord and The Priors. The company, founded in 2002, are specialist residential property developers offering a range of exquisite properties across Jersey. The property developer has a plethora of properties in its portfolio including newly constructed homes, renovated existing structures, as well as refurbished period properties.

One of the firm’s latest developments is The Yews; this site has been transformed by Grange from a dilapidated site into nine beautiful properties. The firm bought the site at the start of 2012 which contained four apartments, an old barn and a generous amount of land. The building containing the apartments was Listed and so the on site team had to be sensitive to the structure and design of the property. Located in St Peters Village the site offers modern, contemporary homes to buyers as well as an idyllic location.

Liberation Group’s latest relaunch, Hugo’s restaurant and bar, is the next venue to tickle your taste buds. Located in the picturesque St Helier, the previously named Dix Neuf has been re-branded into Hugo’s and now boasts unique interiors and an innovative menu made up of locally sourced produce. The restaurant-café-bar collaboration offers an all day dining concept with fresh ideas and a new way of thinking.

With all this and more, look no further than Channel Islands Construction Focus for the latest awe-inspiring developments that continue to shape the architectural landscape.

Regards,

Alison
