Viburnham Gate, Radlett, Hertfordshire, NHBC Awards

Pride in the Job is the renowned awards programme for the house-building industry, intended to recognise and reward the best site managers within the UK.

Having successfully run for 34 years, Pride in the Job is an achievement which is seen as prestigious and noteworthy if an award is handed to you.

The award symbolises success for the site manager and team, associated trades involved in the project and of course creating a very positive reputation for the building company. Homeowners who buy an award-winning home will of course also benefit from such a worthy and high quality product.

Will Petrie of Banner Homes was happy to accept an award for Pride in the Job, as a result of the completion of 75-79 Loom Lane under the name of Viburnum Gate, based in Radlett. Located in Hertfordshire, the set of four impressive detached family homes consist of five and six bedrooms and are priced between £2,275,000 and £2,375,000.

Open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm, the show home is open and available to view for those who wish to experience some of its brilliance and luxuriousness. The homes live up to the extravagance of Radlett, one of the most affluent and privileged areas of Hertfordshire.

Living on Loom Lane has the advantage of being located closely Radlett town centre, being only a fifteen minute walk away. There is a widespread range of facilities and amenities and local public transport running often. London Heathrow Airport is only a forty minute drive away and Radlett train station provides a direct link to London St Pancras station with a journey time of under half an hour.

Featuring a professionally designed open plan kitchen/breakfast/family room, drawing room, dining room, study, en-suite to master bedroom, dressing room to master bedroom, two further en-suite bedrooms, laundry room, TV room, games room and double garage; each home provides all of the essentials and more.

Materials integrated within the homes include quartz stone work surfaces that are stain and scratch resistant, fitted in the kitchen and laundry rooms. The family bathrooms and en-suites include Villeroy & Boch porcelain sanitary ware, silent, motion-sensor LED night lights and thermostatic shower with fixed head and diverter to handset.

Other bathroom and en-suite features include heated chrome towel rails, large and stylish recessed mirrors with over vanity units and storage and walk-in wet room style shower to family bathroom and master en-suite.

Banner Homes and those involved with the development of Viburnum Gate have successfully met environmentally friendly standards, by fitting energy efficient, thermostatically controlled gas central heating and A-rated boiler to reduce gas usage. Furthermore, double glazed uPVC windows have been fitted providing a high level of thermal insulation and reduced heat loss and real time energy monitors have also been installed to help track energy usage, decrease bills and lessen environmental impact.

Dual flush mechanisms to toilets have been incorporated within the housing to minimise water use and high levels of insulation within roof spaces and external wall cavities to limit heat loss in the winter, and reduce heat gain in the summer are just two additional features which have also followed environmentally friendly conduct proving Banner Homes’ dedication to maintain environmental ethics.

In terms of the external details of the homes on Loom Lane, there are outside water taps to the front and rear of each house and an outside electrical point. Each home has a landscaped front garden and the rear gardens are finished with top soil.
