Thomas Johnstone recently undertook an extensive renovation project to form a Head Office facility for prestigious client; Virgin Money. The £1.2 million project was situated in St Andrews Square in Edinburgh and involved the strip out and refurbishment of the lower ground, part first, second and third floors of an existing office development.
Works on site included the creation a new atrium complete with a steel staircase incorporating glazed balustrades from the second to third floors. The existing Air Conditioning systems, ventilation, lighting and IT installations were upgraded and improved; together with the upgrading of the associated mechanical and electrical services.
Thomas Johnstone constructed an array of cellular offices within the office comprising a mixture of plasterboard and glazed demountable partitions. A new MF acoustic ceiling was installed complete with extensive lighting features and all of the buildings floor finishes were replaced. The firm also installed an array of tea preparation areas and kitchens.
