One of their latest restaurants is Bristol Cribbs Causeway, which arrives following an overall sale growth of 18% for the restaurant chain. Situated close to Bristol Golf Course and The Mall, Las Iguanas – Bristol Cribbs Causeway serves tasty Latin American food in authentic and exciting surroundings.
Transporting guests to the bright and colourful world of Latin America, Las Iguanas presents such a diverse combination of pan-continental effects, bringing together native Latin American, Indian, Spanish, Portuguese, and African flavours. It is not only the food that brings this restaurant’s energy and vibrancy to life, but also the overall design of the restaurant.
Created by award-winning hospitality designers, B3 Designers, Las Iguanas Bristol Cribbs Causeway uses a combination of bright leather upholstery, reclaimed materials, and authentic graphics to create the energy and culture of a coastal Mexican eating area. UHS Group worked closely with the Las Iguanas team and B3 Designers to bring this project to life.
Speaking to Premier Hospitality, Natasha Yelland of UHS Group, said:
“We have helped create this exciting environment with the use of our classic Tagg chairs and bar-stools where they have been stained with dark walnut. The metal frames have also been powder-coated with different colours including Salmon Pink, Broom Yellow, Pale Green, and Mint Turquoise. These particular colours symbolize Latin America’s vibrant culture, creating a colourful interior throughout the restaurant.”
Another new member of the thriving Las Iguanas restaurant chain has arrived in Wembley, within the new London Designer Outlet. Las Iguanas Wembley is a luxurious restaurant and bar offering delicious South American dishes and an extensive range of cocktails.
B3 Designers utilised their creative passion and acquired skill set to create the Latin American themed restaurant. The plush and alluring interior of Las Iguanas is filled with soft leather furniture, twinkling lights and lavish materials and colours to create a unique experience.
The 630sq metre space was inspired by a relaxed yet chic Latin American character, with influences from the industrial 1950’s referencing authentic furniture and fixtures. One key element of the building is a perimeter-ceiling feature made from timber beams creating a canopy effect and an outdoor feel.
Timber flooring generates a feeling of old ballroom style rooms and a ceiling coffer with detailed cornicing holding three large embellished feature chandeliers, adds to the glamorous aesthetics. Adding to the charm of the diner are feature pendant lights suspended from the ceiling, and antique bronze screens placing playful shadows around the area.

“Las Iguanas Wembley has a very prominent position on the second level of the London Design Outlet. Due to its location we wanted the design to be a little more polished, giving it a striking city inspired design. The feedback for the restaurant has been very positive. The Las Iguanas site has a real point of difference from the other restaurants in London Designer Outlet and feels very much a premium destination whilst remaining accessible and family friendly. It’s a great location; Las Iguanas has several sites in London and this venue brings an exciting offer to the West London area.”
The lively coastal colour palette of the venue comprises coral, jade green and mustard yellow shades in an assortment of worn paint finished and textured fabrics. These colours compliment the dark Iroko timber panelling frames located in the serving area, delivering an edgy touch to the interior.
B3 Designers are a London-based firm with a diverse portfolio of contemporary, distinct designs for the interiors of bars, hotels, restaurants and retail spaces. Since it’s founding in 2002 by Design Director, Mark Bithrey, B3 Designers has won several awards and strengthened its collection of design projects within numerous venues.
