Quarryplan comprises a team of industry skilled professionals including Chartered Mineral surveyors, Chartered Town Planners, Chartered Geologists and other associate specialists. Each member of the Quarryplan Team has worked directly in the quarrying industry and many have held senior positions within a major quarrying company. The Team has extensive knowledge of the quarry industry which has been gained first hand and therefore Quarryplan can provide practical and professional advice enabling the Client to develop their business.

Quarryplan was founded by Andrew Scurfield whose focus and strategy has always been to provide the quarry industry with an unrivalled professional service. Having worked extensively in the quarry industry Andrew is aware of the increasing demands placed on operators via legislation, by planning authorities and other stakeholders.

The company has provided assistance and professional advice to clients all over Ireland and Britain and has created a specialist team to meet the needs of the quarry industry as the industry has changed over the years.

Quarryplan has successfully delivered over 100 mineral planning permissions throughout Britain and Ireland, providing consents for over 200 million tonnes of hardrock and 50 million tonnes of sand and gravel, in addition to numerous coated roadstone plants, concrete batching plants and other ancillary developments.

Quarryplan continuously and actively engages with key stakeholders including Planning Authorities, Environmental Agencies, local communities and Trade Associations, in order to ensure Clients receive the best service possible.
