Comprising 26 exclusive apartments, plus stylish communal areas with a wealth of superb facilities, Fleur de Lis is a high-end luxury retirement village, nearing completion in Christchurch.
The development is geared to providing a complete idyllic lifestyle for retired people.
The project is being carried out for Renaissance Retirement Group, who also designed and are constructing the scheme.
The three-storey scheme of one and two-bedroom apartments includes courtyards and landscaping, which will be fully maintained.
The development is being constructed on the former site of the town’s old Cornfactor building, which was originally the central hub of the district’s corn market dating back to the 1800s.
The stylish looking building is partially constructed using local Portland stone and has been conscientiously designed to preserve the view of the stunning 19th century spire of the Christchurch Christian Centre. To achieve this, Renaissance Retirement removed two units from the centre of the building design, and replaced them with a glass link through which the church spire is visible.

“With that in mind, we had to make sure views of the spire remained so we worked closely with the local authority to make this a reality. We believe we have a unique proposition for people retiring in Christchurch.”
In addition to the apartments, the scheme incorporates luxurious shared facilities – all geared to the standard one would expect in a four star hotel. These include an elegantly furnished entrance foyer and a well-appointed owners’ lounge overlooking Druitt Gardens; a fully furnished guest suite for visitors staying overnight, and an elegant tea house, named Fleur De Lis Tea Rooms, set within a beautifully landscaped courtyard area with tables and chairs.
All of the apartments offer an impressive specification including: double glazing throughout; full carpeting; bespoke fitted wardrobes; electric heating; bespoke fitted wardrobes; electric heating and a fresh air filtration system. Many of the apartments also have balconies overlooking Druitt Gardens.
Kitchens will incorporate fully integrated Neff appliances throughout, including fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, cooker hood, combination oven, washing machine/tumble dryer and dishwasher and will feature granite work tops with Ovolo mouldings and under pelmet lighting.

The development also has its own full time concierge.
Backing on to the high street, the development is within walking distance of all the main amenities including shops, restaurants, banks, parks, a harbour and Castle ruins as well as being on the main bus route to the New Forest and the award winning shopping destinations of Castle Point and Bournemouth.
