Located in Regent Street’s popular Food Quarter, Heddon Street Kitchen is the latest restaurant from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
The restaurant serves food from brunch through to dinner, with room for a couple of cheeky post-work cocktails for those looking to unwind after a long day.
Heddon Street Kitchen is housed over two floors and presents a modern European menu overseen by head chef Maria Tampakis. Prior to firing up the ovens at Heddon Street, Chef Tampakis worked at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen as well as at the three Michelin-starred Jean-Georges restaurant in New York.
On the upstairs level of Heddon Street Kitchen the restaurant is capable of catering up to 50 guests, meanwhile the private dining room – situated on the upper floor – has room for 12 guests for breakfast or lunch. The private dining room benefits from great views of the restaurant, plenty of natural light and is the ideal place to sit down for a dinner celebration.
The restaurant – which opened in the autumn – covers approximately 9,000 sq ft. Before being transformed into a restaurant for the Gordon Ramsay Group, the site previously housed a Living Room bar and restaurant.
Gordon Ramsay Group Managing Director, Stuart Gilles, said:
“It’s a really exciting site for the Gordon Ramsay Group which has seen us expand into a new part of London. The site and location lends itself perfectly to an all-day dining concept which will take inspiration from Bread Street Kitchen, which has been extremely successful.”
The menu at Heddon Street Kitchen includes a delicious selection of salads and hot and cold starters, ranging from £7.50 up to £19. Sides are also available, with favourites such as hand cut chips, mashed potatoes and roasted Brussel sprouts with bacon lardons on the menu.
Dishes on offer at Heddon Street Kitchen include roasted cod, with crushed potatoes, artichoke and salted capers in a red wine and lemon sauce; steamed sea bream, with smoked aubergine, savoy cabbage, Castelluccio lentils and roasted pumpkin; and king crab thermidor with watercress and shallot salad. Meanwhile, the grill is the place to go for 45oz tomahawk steak; 10oz saddleback pork chop; 30 day aged 12oz English rib-eye steak; or English rose veal chop.
To round out the offering, Heddon Street Kitchen also includes a dessert menu, packed with belly rumbling treats and a cocktail menu. Drinks include Andalusian After Hours; Ramos Slim Fizz; Mad Hatters Tea Party; and Monkey in the Mist.
