The firm consider themselves to be leaders in the design field and have been in operation for 30 years.
The firm have worked with Bourne Leisure for 30 years and undertake many projects on their behalf throughout the UK. The firm also have plans to work with Prestige Projects on a number of developments in the Isle of White and Hawkchurch, near Axminster in East Devon.
We caught up with John Bratherton, the Managing Director of Bratherton Park Design, to find out more about the firms involvement with Darwin Holiday Parks. The firm worked with Darwin on the award winning Cheddar Woods in Somerset and Piran Meadows in Newquay.
Talking about the successful Cheddar Woods Holiday Park in Somerset John commented:
“We designed the layout of the lodge park and its character, as well as the special features that it needed because of the area it is in. Then we designed the entire infrastructure and project managed the development of it, delivering a turnkey project whilst working alongside the rest of the team.”
John and his team worked alongside landscape architects, electrical specialists, contractors, the Environment Agency and the local planning team in order to complete the development.
With reference to being involved with the project John commented:
“It was important to be involved with the Cheddar Woods project because we achieved the client’s brief that the park had to be the best in class in the area.
“We pride ourselves in our dedication to what we are doing, a quality finish, as well as making sure we know what the clients requirements are and delivering those. We also are dedicated to delivering projects on time and on budget.”
