Dear readers,

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

This month we take a look at the George’s Fish and Chip Kitchen in Nottingham; we head to Liverpool to view the two new Fab4 Beatles-themed cafes; and we unveil Cenetta!

George’s Tradition is a family run fish & chip business with chip shops dotted throughout the Midlands. The business began in 1967 with just one shop and has since grown to include ten takeaways, four restaurants and a pub. Breaking with tradition but keen to keep delivering high quality fresh fish and chips they have recently expanded their business with another site in the Midlands – this time in their home city of Nottingham. Situated on Queen Street, the restaurant opened at the end of 2014 and showcases some of the best fish and chips around, utilising 100% sustainable ocean wild cod and haddock, as well as 100% farm assured British potatoes.

Meanwhile, already proving a huge hit with tourists are two new Fab4 Beatles-themed cafes created for the award-winning Liverpool-based The Beatles Story Ltd, the world’s largest permanent exhibition devoted to the lives and times of the world-famous group. One of the cafes is located at The Beatles Story base in Albert Dock, whilst the other is at the Pier Head site within the Mersey Ferries terminal.

Mary Chadwick, General Manager (Commercial) at The Beatles Story told Premier Hospitality: “The design took the spaces to a new level. People love the look and feel of it, with many visitors taking photographs.”

And finally, Deckers Hospitality Group’s stunning new Italian is situated on Manchester Road and has been carefully designed to provide diners with a friendly and relaxed environment. Cenetta replaces The Fallen Angels restaurant which closed in January 2015, and boasts a contemporary setting and an authentic Italian menu with Mediterranean influences. Cenetta has been designed to provide diners with stylish surroundings, which highlight’s the venue’s existing architectural features whilst presenting a whole-new look. The transformation project was implemented by Max Brierley, Managing Director of Deckers Hospitality Group, designed by Sam Tinsley of Tinsley Wood and was completed in February.

With all this and more, sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!
