Based in the Czech Republic, R & J EBC specialise in the production and installation of joinery and casegoods for the hospitality industry, including the supply of lighting, carpets and soft furniture.
The company has been in operation for 24 years and within this time has worked with many leading names within the hospitality industry from its native home in the Czech Republic, to Australia, the USA, South Africa and in various countries across Europe.
In the UK, R & J EBC has worked on numerous projects, from Hampton by Hilton and the Marriott Hotel on Park Lane, London, to the Holiday Inn in Derby and the George Hotel in Sheffield. The company has also provided offices for Kudos and Marshall Airspace and completed projects for Vodafone and Heathrow Airport.

Last year, R & J EBC was involved in the prestigious Shangri-La at The Shard, which opened in May 2014 along the historic South Bank of the River Thames. As the tallest hotel in Western Europe and the first high-rise hotel in London, the Shangri-La occupies levels 34 to 52 of the 72-storey Shard and is an incredibly impressive venue.
Shangri-La at The Shard benefits from breathtaking views, taking in iconic London landmarks such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament and every detail of the hotel environment has been carefully considered. Working on the project, R & J EBC was involved with the public areas of the hotel, which covered floors 34 and 35.
The project was understandably very important to R & J EBC, but one very much in keeping with the type of work conducted by a company which has delivered the Olympic Stadium in Sydney and the Table Star Hotel in Cape Town.
