Severfield’s highly trained workforce have undertaken projects in a variety of fields including Bridges, City Centre and Retail, Commercial Offices, Education, Hospitals, Industrial and Warehousing, Power and Energy, Residential and Hotels, Stadia and leisure, Transport as well as Car Parks.

Severfield have worked on many high profile projects including the 2012 Olympic Stadium, The Shard, Heathrow Airport, First Direct Arena in Leeds, Birmingham New Street, Wimbledon Centre Court, the Emirates Stadium and Paris Philharmonic Hall.

The firm also supply and erect industrial buildings and distribution warehouses drawing on the expertise of their own erection teams. Having this in-house team provides clients with added efficiency as Severfield do not need to outsource this service to any other provider.

Manufacturing is another integral part of Severfield’s operation. The firm has fabrication facilities across all four of their sites as well as dedicated contract managers to assist clients throughout projects to ensure the schedule progresses smoothly.

On behalf of Team Olympic Severfield utilised more than 10,000 tons of structural steelwork aiding the construction of the main Olympic stadium. The firm worked alongside main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine, architects Hok Sport and engineers Buro Happold to carry out the scheme.

More recently Severfield has been working on the US Embassy office project in London alongside main contractor sir Robert McAlpine. Works began on site in September last year and are scheduled to complete in March 2015.

2015 is set to be a busy year for Severfield with them working on an array of projects including Nova mixed use facility in Victoria, central London, M8 Rail Bridge, commercial office space at Principal Place in London, as well as a distribution centre for ALDI, Niftylift, H&M, Farm Foods and Goodman Logistics.

Severfield are dedicated to promoting health and safety in every aspect of their work. The team constantly assesses potential risks during all challenging projects and places a strong emphasis on the safety of employees.

Regular training is provided for all employees to increase general awareness and stringent processes are in place to monitor how health and safety in the workplace can be improved.
