Dear readers,

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

This month we take a look at the latest development for Munch Food Company; we find out more about the breathtaking renovation at Bovey Castle; and we unveil Manchester’s Hotel Gotham.

Set up in 2011 by Michelin star chef Keith Goddard, Munch Food Company is a high-end catering company providing bespoke menus to clients. Over the past four years, Munch Food Company has developed into a team of passionate and professional individuals and has recently moved to a new home in Battersea to further its offering. The Munch Food Company HQ includes office space, a tasting room, wine cellar and best of all, a new state-of-the-art kitchen, all housed within a railway arch.

Meanwhile, Bovey Castle has recently undergone an extensive renovation programme commissioned by new owners Eden Hotel Collection. The first phase of the five year scheme has now been completed giving the venue a new lease of life. Under previous ownership the castle had been starved of attention and was in a state of disrepair; as a result Eden Hotel Collection immediately began reparatory works on building in October 2014 after gaining ownership of the iconic structure.

Mark Chambers, Managing Director of the Eden Hotel Collection, commented:

“Bovey Castle is stunning and needed to be bought back to its former glory but we didn’t want to just redecorate what was originally there, we wanted to make a statement and take the hotel into a new era.”

And finally, another fantastic venue has arrived in Manchester, in the shape of Hotel Gotham.

Having undergone a breath taking metamorphosis from its former life as a bank, the stunning luxury 5 star Hotel Gotham, is located on King Street and showcases stylish decadence and a brilliant white, fossil festooned, Portland Stone façade. The hotel occupies seven floors of the Grade II Listed building and incorporates 60 bedrooms, a restaurant, a roof-top bar and private member’s club.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!
Alex
