Additional projects completed by Clark Contracts include the KFC Braehead scheme, which comprised the construction of a new drive-thru close to Junction 26 off the M8 at Braehead and the Easterhouse Health Centre – a two-storey, steel framed extension to the existing building in order to link a resource centre with a health centre.

Over 90% of its projects are competitively tendered and the company places health and safety at the forefront of all its endeavours.

As well as constructing a long line of high profile and award-winning projects, Clark Contracts is also mindful of its effect on the environment and looks to deliver projects which make use of as many reusable and environmentally friendly materials as possible.

A spokesperson for Clark Contracts, said:

“We take our responsibilities to the environment and communities very seriously. We proactively manage our environmental impact, our Site Waste Management Plans are implemented on all our projects over £500,000 or at a lower value if requested by the client and last year we recycled 85% of our active waste. We track the fuel consumption of our fleet of company vans and we generate 23% of our own electricity through solar panels on the roof of our head office.”

Above all of its activities, Clark Contracts places its customers first and continues to improve the way that all customers are dealt with, to ensure best practices and services are being put into place at every opportunity. Clark Contracts aim to deliver more than just a project and this ethos remains an intrinsic aspect of the company’s daily operations.
