Set up in 1874, BAM Construction is a leading construction company with a reputation for delivering high quality projects throughout the UK.

BAM Construction work on numerous projects, covering an array of schemes from offices, schools, hospitals and university projects to hotels, museums, research labs and cultural venues.

In order to remain at the forefront of the construction industry, BAM Construction has offices across the UK, covering England, Scotland and Wales. With the correct infrastructure in place, BAM Construction can deliver exactly what its customers’ need, whether it is the installation of new facilities or building management services.

BAM Construction conducts all its work with integrity, showcasing that it is a reliable and trustworthy company which supports its customers and colleagues. As a considerate contractor, BAM Construction is always looking for the best solutions to all its work, ensuring that communities and the environment benefit from operations, where possible.

BAM Construction’s portfolio of projects include: Richmond Witney Retirement Village in Witney; First Direct Arena in Leeds; Brindleyplace in Birmingham; UAL Central St Matins Campus in King’s Cross; and Africa House in London. Additional projects have included the Parkgate Development in Solihull and the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham.

The Parkgate Development was a £33 million retail and residential project created in the Shirley district of Solihull. The complex project saw BAM Construction build a new food superstore, a number of retail spaces and a collection of homes, as well as regenerate numerous small-scale community facilities.

The Barclaycard Arena project, meanwhile, was a £22 million scheme designed to breathe new life into an already successful city centre venue. During the works, the venue – formerly known as the NIA – was given a stunning makeover with new front & back-of-house facilities receiving an upgrade.

A spokesperson for Bam Construction, said:

“We believe buildings are for people. And creating and maintaining a building is both a human and a technical challenge. That’s what drives us.

“In simple terms, we design, construct, refurbish and operate outstanding buildings for public and private sector clients, and for our own portfolio of properties.

“Creating a new building – or breathing new life into an existing one – takes vision. Clear, long-sighted vision. A vision that’s shared by the client, the designer, the construction company, the facilities management supplier and more.

“It starts with the people who will use the building and caters to their needs: even if these may be complex and hard to predict.

“It takes into account how that building will evolve throughout its design life. How it will be maintained. How much it will cost to run. And it factors in the impact that the building will have on its environment: immediate and global; now and in the future.

“We know this process and these arguments inside out – from the client perspective and the user point of view, as well as with our design, construction and maintenance hats on – because we’re property developers in our own right.

“Our aim is to be a distinctive construction, facilities management and property services brand, by being customer-centric, creative and sustainable.

“We’re part of a great industry that can make a huge difference to the quality of people’s lives. But within our industry we want to be distinctive, thanks to our exceptional people and the way we relate to our customers.”
