Its portfolio includes several high profile leisure schemes such as the substantial entertainment complex at Gurney House in Middlesbrough where a ‘large’ casino license has been secured. The scheme will also incorporate a budget hotel, restaurants and a multi-storey car park and will be anchored by a 4 star hotel with conference and entertainment facilities.

Delivering high-end value residential and sustainable residential developments is also something the firm excels at.

The firm also has a distinguished reputation in delivering quality and sustainable residential developments.

Jomast’s expertise in all facets of residential development and investment is evidenced by its involvement in large urban regeneration and mixed use schemes.

The firm also works in retail development including a UK wide pipeline of schemes which are predominantly pre-let or pre-sold. Adopting an occupier led approach of gaining an in depth understanding of the retailer’s specific requirements enables the most suitable sites to be identified, acquired and delivered through the planning process.

The team are also skilled in the development and management of industrial property having worked with manufacturers, retailers and distributors to provide property solutions for an array of businesses seeking industrial accommodation.

Admiral Point at Spectrum Business Park, County Durham, is an example of a successful modern multi-let scheme developed, owned and managed by Jomast, providing a range of excellent quality work space which has attracted national and international companies.

Bringing historic buildings back to life through sympathetic restoration, refurbishment and conversion is another string to Jomast’s bow. The firm owns and manages many significant heritage buildings recognised for their importance to the urban landscape by their Listed status.

Such buildings are brought back into use by a process of sensitive conversion and adapted delicately for modern day occupation.

The Globe Theatre in Stockton on Tees will be comprehensively refurbished and restored, bringing back to life a major heritage asset with many benefits for the town and the wider region.

Currently the firm are working on the construction of 80 flats in Newcastle which are set to complete in July. Eaga House project has involved the conversion of vacant office buildings to create 80 residential apartments, commercial units, alterations to elevations, creation of parking and 85 cycle spaces, as well as the installation of air source heat pumps.
