Work on a brand new development in Bathgate continues to make great progress – picking up an NHBC Pride in the Job Award in the process.
The Liberty Park project, which comprises the construction of a 76-house development is being constructed on behalf of Miller Homes and includes a mix of three and four bedroom properties, including detached and semi-detached.
Speaking about receiving an NHBC Award, Site Manager for Miller Homes, Kris Aitchison, said:
“This is my first ever Pride in the Job Award and it comes along with a regional award for health and safety – which is great. It feels really good to achieve this recognition, as the team and I are working hard on this site.”
A traditional Scottish town set in gentle lowland landscapes, Bathgate is today growing rapidly in importance because of its strategic position in the heart of the Central Belt, midway between Edinburgh and Glasgow and in easy reach of both road and rail. Conveniently situated in a major new residential neighbourhood within a few minutes walk of the town centre, Liberty Park is an attractive development of luxurious, energy-efficient homes.
Work began on Liberty Park in September 2014 and is an ongoing process. With roughcast render finish, uPVC windows and fascia the properties boast a modern minimalist exterior finish with both front and back gardens, some with garages and each with at least one allocated parking space. Inside, the homes are finished to an excellent standard with high gloss cupboards, granite tops and tiled floors in both the kitchen and bathrooms.
Miller Homes have been in operation for 80 years during which they have developed a great relationship with clients and homeowners. The company prides itself in both kerb appeal and the highest standard of structure in the homes which they build. They inspect every detail of new homes from the way the door feels when you open it to the crisp clean edge of the paintwork and are committed to the most environmentally friendly movements in homebuilding. They use low-carbon construction methods (even zero carbon on occasion) and create homes which are highly energy efficient in everyday life.
