 Galliford Try is a housebuilding and construction brand comprising Linden Homes, Morrison Construction, Pentland Estate Management, Pentland Limited and Rock & Alluvium.

Galliford Try aims to employ the correct people within the correct roles, which is why the group recently announced a new appointment within its Building North West division.

Ed Wootton has taken up the role, replacing longstanding managing director Bob Merriman who is taking retirement after 50 years with the company. Ed Wootton has been with Galliford Try for more than 20 years himself and brings a wealth of experience to the role.

Speaking about the new North West appointment, Galliford Try Building North and Scotland Managing Director, Ian Jubb, said:

“I was delighted to be able to appoint a high-quality candidate such as Ed from within our own ranks to this important role. Ed is a well-respected figure in construction in the North West and I know he will build on Bob’s excellent work as we continue to deliver our strategy for disciplined growth in the region.”
