Standing in a half acre site overlooking Rozel Bay with private access to the beach, Le Couperon is one of the most exclusive properties in Jersey, following a comprehensive project comprising extension and refurbishment.

Located on a seafront site with private beach access, five bedroom suites, a 12 seater cinema, infinity pool, wine cellar, home office, 8-10 car garage and two guest units, this prestigious property boasts an exceptional specification.

Project architects were Archara Architects, main contractors were Lane Construction.

This converted Napoleonic Fortress on the site of a former hotel, is designed with a living room on the first floor to make the most of the outstanding views and totals almost 12,000sq.ft.

Accommodation comprises a first floor open plan living room, kitchen, dining room and master bedroom suite – all with floor to ceiling sliding glass windows to create a comfortable cross breeze. The Austrian designed windows have been especially made for the maritime position of the property and provide access to a large sun deck overlooking the beautiful bay and coast of Normandy.

The ground floor has four further bedroom suites, a home office, temperature controlled wine cellar, utility and sizeable 12 seater American style cinema room complete with padded walls.

Existing outbuildings in the grounds offer luxurious staff/guest accommodation, a pool house/gym and 8-10 car garage with under floor heating and an aluminium and white translucent safety/security glazed sectional garage door.

Original external elevations have been refurbished and repointed with lime mortar, whilst new elevations have been rendered and painted white. Balconies feature a frameless glass balustrade system, with square section stainless steel folded top rail with clear laminated/toughened glass guarding.

Windows and doors are a mixture of hardwood painted and high performance double glazed units in thermally broken silver anodised aluminium frames. The building’s sedum covered highly insulated ‘Green’ roof system features pebble borders, with concealed / internal rainwater down pipes. New gates have been fitted to the building’s beach access and main property access.

A ‘Janus’ column sits proudly at the front of the property, forming a natural turning circle. The garden is complete with a range of mature plants, with access via a few steps directly onto Rozel beach. The infinity pool creates a seamless flow between the pool water and the sea. The property is located in the heart of Rozel Bay with very easy access to the Rozel pub, The Navigator restaurant, Chateau la Chaire and The Hungry Man cafe.
