Dear readers,

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue take a look at the refurbishment of The Cinnamon Club; we check out the latest Drake & Morgan bar in Kingscross; and we put the spotlight on leading brewery, Fullers, Smith & Turner.

The Cinnamon Club reopened its doors in September following a fantastic refurbishment ahead of its 15th anniversary. The Cinnamon Club worked with award-winning design studio B3 Designers on the refurbishment, reviving and enhancing the traditional features of the Grade II Listed building, which once housed Westminster Library. During the course of the refurbishment, B3 Designers enriched the 242 cover, 363 square metre restaurant by utilising strong colours and majestic finishes. Soaring ceilings, elegant tables, shelves filled with antiquarian books and vintage wood panelling have helped create a mood of club-like serenity, whilst marble table tops have been used in the main dining room to create an elegant appearance.

Meanwhile, the latest Drake & Morgan bar and restaurant at Kings Cross is the new flagship site for the company. Split over equally-sized ground and lower ground floor levels, it’s one of the company’s largest sites – the ninth within the group – and was designed by Fusion DNA, with The French Group as lead contractors.

Sam Smith of Fusion DNA said:

“The key to the design of such a large site is to carve the footprint up into several smaller spaces, each with its own identity, to offer the customer flexibility in how they wish to use the venue.”

And finally, with 181 managed pubs and hotels and 205 tenanted pubs throughout London and the South East, brewers Fuller, Smith & Turner’s pubs are enjoying continuing success and ongoing expansion, with an offer based on outstanding cask ale, great wine, exemplary service and delicious fresh, home-cooked food. In this issue, we put the spotlight on the company, highlighting the impressive work that is going on in this area of the hospitality sector.

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.

Enjoy!

Alex
