Caddick Construction is headed by Paul Caddick, under whose leadership the business has rapidly expanded. With significant achievements in design and build, and property development, Paul retains an important hands-on role within the business.

The company aims to provide defect-free products and services to all its customers, on time and within budget and operates a quality management system which is ISO 9001 certified and includes the provision of construction and civil engineering services.

The company pride themselves on their record of 12 years in a row securing the RoSPA Gold Award (third Presidents Award) for safety, and 14 years in a row securing the British Safety Council Award. Andrew Murray, managing director at Caddick Construction, commented: “We aim to provide a safe working environment not only for our employees, but also for all the operatives and visitors on our sites, as well as the general public.”

All of the company’s contracts managers and project managers hold the IOSH Managing Safely in Construction Certificate, and Site Managers hold the CITB Site Managers’ Safety Training Scheme Certificate as minimum.  All key personnel are qualified First Aiders and 100% of the workforce hold a CSCS card.

Caddick Construction recognises the importance of environmental protection and is committed to operating its business responsibly and in compliance with all environmental regulations, legislation and approved professional codes of practice relating to the recycling of materials and protection of the environment.

The company’s Environmental Management System is ISO 14001 certified and Caddick Construction is dedicated to monitoring and seeking to reduce their energy use and minimise waste through reducing, reusing and recycling throughout the business.

The company also operate the Construct CO2 system on all their projects which monitors water, electricity and fuel consumption, as well as measuring the CO2 emissions of travel to and from site of operatives, staff, visitors and deliveries.

On average 85% of Caddick Construction’s construction waste is diverted from landfill and the company is committed to reducing waste, recycling more and increasing their use of recycled and recovered materials.

Caddick work with like-minded supply chain members and assess their impact on the environment to ensure that the most environmentally viable choices are made on all their projects.

This not only makes commercial sense, but helps to protect the environment.

Caddick Construction is committed to serving and helping the local areas where they work, and assist in educating pupils from local schools in site health and safety, as well as promote promoting the consideration of construction as a career through work experience, site visits and mentoring.

At Alban Retail Park, in Warrington, Caddick Construction carried out a £3.4 million project for Derwent Holdings, with the works including utilising the structural steelwork from a former Fiat Warehouse to form five new retail units.

The project also included the provision of 716 parking spaces and the creation of a new junction with Winwick Road, as well as improvements to access off Hawleys Lane.

Caddick Construction Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caddick Group Plc, which offers a wide range of services including design, construction, civil engineering, property development, property management and leisure and event management.

Founded in 1979, the group has evolved into the company it is today through carefully controlled development and expansion.

Aztec Industrial Roofing Ltd specialise in the installation of industrial roofing and cladding for the construction industry. The company has been in operation for 30 years and within this time has worked with many leading industry names, including expert contractor, Caddick Construction.

Operating as a roofing and cladding subcontractor for Caddick Construction, Aztec Industrial Roofing Ltd has successfully worked on projects such as Edge Lane in Liverpool, the Alban Retail Park scheme in Warrington and Kilner Way in Sheffield.
