Kubota, a total solutions provider in the manufacture of world class oil and water cooled diesel and duel fuel engines, is using Bauma 2016 as the ideal launch platform for its new Diesel Power Packs in the power range up to 55kW.

The new Diesel Power Packs have been specifically designed and developed in response to the needs of the market, ensuring Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) have a readily available solution today to meet current and proposed future regulations.

Daniel Grant, Business Development Manager for Kubota Engines UK, commented: “We know that OEMs have been calling out for a solution like this. The launch of our new Diesel Power Packs highlight Kubota’s commitment to investing in technology to ensure machinery manufacturers can power their solutions with the most efficient and cost-effective diesel engines. We are therefore delighted to be introducing our Diesel Power Packs at Bauma 2016, one of the world’s leading trade fairs.

“The Packs feature common rail technology and state-of-the-art exhaust gas treatment. This will ensure our OEM customers have the right engine solution to effectively develop machines that meet emissions targets.

“The introduction of the Packs also puts us and our customers in a strong position for when Stage V emissions legislation does comes into effect in 2019. Whilst the final and finer details of Stage V are still being debated in Brussels, the launch of the Diesel Power Packs will ensure that we and our OEMs are fully prepared and ready to go.

“Not only will this put them in a strong position to implement new product development programmes so they are geared up for 2019, but it also means they can do away with having to spend valuable time and resources sourcing additional third party accessories and components. This will reduce pressure on them and the risk of supply issues.

“In addition to this, the Diesel Power Packs also present a fantastic opportunity for our distributor and dealer customers to target machinery manufacturers with an engines solution that they want and need. The 55kW power range is a key area and will act as the building block for Kubota to develop other power packs in the future.”

The new Diesel Power Packs are extremely reliable, durable and compact units. In curtain configurations, up to 100% power at the side PTO may be possible, an indispensable feature for engines working in confined installations.
