This Month in Premier Retail 1-4

Welcome to Premier Retail 1-4 – the premier construction tool for the retail industry.

In this month’s issue we quench our thirst with a visit to T2 Tea; we get the lowdown on a new look for Bang and Olufsen; and we cast our eye over a new flagship store for Mamas and Papas.

Specialising in tea and teaware, T2 Tea is a retail brand that offers a range of products to tea lovers and others alike. With tea at the heart of everything they do, T2 presents a whole host of various teas, including herbal, fruit, semi-fermented and limited edition, amongst others. With an existing nine stores in the UK, T2 Tea revealed its tenth store in November 2015, at New Bond Street, Bath.

Meanwhile, Bang and Olufsen stores around the world are set to get a significant makeover as the company rolls out a brand new store concept. The new design, which is described as a “sensory store concept,” aims to be seen in the majority of stores globally within the next two years.

Paul Sands, Director for Retail Development and Customer Experience at Bang & Olufsen commented: “The new concept replaces a design concept we have had for a long time. The sensory store will roll out across the whole world and it is very different to what it is replacing. What we are trying to do is make it very obvious that when you walk into a store, it is not a conventional audio visual retailer.”

And finally, a major new innovatively designed 5,000 sq ft flagship store for brand-leading specialists Mamas and Papas at Westfield White City, London, has already prompted positive customer feedback and significantly increased sales. The store, which sells products including prams, pushchairs, baby clothing, nursery furniture and accessories, children’s wear and maternity wear, features an imaginatively designed interior created by Dalziel and Pow, and expertly installed by fit out contractors The Hurst Group and Vitra.

With all this and much more inside, please join us as we explore the projects which continue to shape the retail sector.
