Harrington Generators International (HGI) Ltd has secured a major order worth over £250,000 with one of the UK’s leading suppliers of cabin-based equipment for the construction plant and hire industry.

The deal includes the sale of 50 x WELF-AIR cabin generators, including the HGI’s popular WAC90 9kVA unit.  The WELF-AIR range is specially designed for powering welfare and accommodation units on-site and has been developed to perform exceptionally well in the confines of such a unit.

The generators, which come complete with a three-year warranty as standard for added peace of mind, are powered by 4-cylinder, water-cooled Kubota D1105 diesel engine.

Bryan Harris, Managing Director of HGI, commented: “We are delighted that we have managed to secure such a significant order for our WELF-AIR cabin generators.

“Along with the core features and benefits of our product line up, another critical factor in securing this sale was the fact that these generators are powered by Kubota engines.  Kubota is the preferred choice of industrial equipment manufacturers, with its engine range world renowned for quality and performance.

“Ultimately, our customers demand the most reliable solutions on the market that won’t let them down time and again.  With our WELF-AIR range of generators featuring Kubota engines, we can offer them exactly that.”

Kubota’s industry leading range of oil and water-cooled diesel and dual fuel engines are highly durable and compact, offering minimal noise and vibration.  The range is designed to provide maximum fuel efficiency for machinery solutions, whilst also meeting the latest emissions levels and regulatory targets.

As well as a number of its WELF-AIR Cabins, HGI also use Kubota engines in some of its diesel powered generators and one of its welding generators.
