Construction Director of MTD Contractors Ltd, James Anderson said:

“MTD have been a design and build delivery partner in the construction of the prestigious Nobu Hotel Shoreditch from its first inception, through planning approval to ultimate delivery. We will be proud to complete this turnkey hotel on time and on budget. The MTD team has drawn upon its vast experience of high quality hotel construction to produce what will become a stunning addition to the Shoreditch scene.”

Due to the excellent reputation that Chef Nobu Matsuhisa possesses, the hotel restaurant will encompass a fantastic experience for any guest that visits the hotel, delivering a unique taste of what Chef Nobu has to offer. The open kitchen means that guests will be able to enjoy the theatre and excitement of watching the chefs at work.

To complete the Nobu project the hotel is to be joined by a landscaped garden, located at the site’s eastern side. Demolition was followed by the creation of a huge, double basement with an open space, creating this garden area which will become part of the restaurant.

When it opens, Nobu Hotel Shoreditch will join the Nobu collection which includes Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace in Las Vegas; Nobu Hotel City of Dreams in Manila; and Nobu Hotel Eden Roc in Miami Beach, as well as hotels in Riyadh, Chicago, Los Cabos and Bahrain.
