This Month in Premier Construction 23.2

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Construction magazine.

In this month’s edition, we take a look at numerous NHBC award-winning projects, including the superb Coombe Pines; we unveil The Frog, the newest restaurant from Chef Adam Handling; and we showcase to architectural beauty of Derby Arena.

Situated in Kingston-upon-Thames, private residence Coombe Pines presents a wonderfully stunning property with seven bedrooms, state-of-the-art facilities and a sense of magnificence surrounding it. The project was delivered by main contractor, Lifestyle Projects, with Site Manager, Sam Devlin picking up an NHBC Pride in the Job Award for his role in the project.

Commenting on the award, Sam said:

“It’s great – marvellous – I have never won anything in my life! It feels good to be recognised for all the hard work my team and I have put in. To finally get to the end and to have the project recognised feels great.”

Meanwhile, brand new restaurant The Frog, in Ely’s Yard at London’s Spitalfields, has recently opened with Chef Adam Handling at the heart of this new dining experience. The Frog marks the first in a spectacular collection of restaurants to open by the chef, with this initial offering serving up 60 covers, alongside a stunning bar.

And finally, situated on Derby’s Pride Park, next to the iPro Stadium, Derby Arena is a £27.5 million development designed as a sporting and physical activity hub. The arena is one of the most important changes to leisure facilities in Derby and has been implemented through Derby City Council’s Leisure Strategy. The new Arena is primarily a space for sports and physical activity; however it also serves as a venue to host cultural events, exhibitions, product launches and conferences and as such, is able to hold up to 5,000 people.

With all this and more, join us as we explore the impressive construction projects that continue to shape our landscape.
