This Month in Premier Hospitality 6.1

Welcome to the latest edition of Premier Hospitality.

In this month’s issue we showcase the Jazz Café; we unveil Fanny Nelsons; and we take a peek at the new-look Badger & Co.

The Jazz Café in Camden Town, London has spent a quarter of a century bringing the most respected names in jazz and soul to town. Names including Amy Winehouse, D’Angelo and Bobby Womack have all played at the venue, which has now undergone refurbishment.  The Columbo Group, who run a string of London venues, have given the space a new look and intend to carry on its legacy by presenting exciting sounds from the wider jazz community to customers.

Meanwhile, situated on Horatio Street, East London, Fanny Nelsons is an exciting new cocktail bar that replaces what was formerly known as ‘Nelson’s Head’. Open seven days a week, the bar serves cocktails, local beers, fine wines, mixed drinks and simple but delicious food. A beautiful 1830s London public house named after Lord Nelson, the refurbishments and re-brand encompasses a unique and distinctive concept on the history of the house and Lord Nelson himself. The bar opened in May and has received excellent feedback.

And finally, situated in Edinburgh, Badger & Co has undergone a remarkable transition and relocation to Castle Street in the former home of Kenneth Grahame, the author of Wind in the Willows. Badger & Co boasts an exclusive private dining room and serves up a good old fashioned dose of hospitality, alongside an exquisite menu.

Speaking to Premier Hospitality, the project’s designer, Adam Tibbatts, said:

“The feedback has been great, the restaurant has a fantastic reputation for food and everyone has been working really hard. The restaurant has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere and it has been received very well.”

With all this and more, it’s time to sit back and tuck into another helping of Premier Hospitality.
