This Month in Premier Retail 1-5

Welcome to Premier Retail – the premier construction tool for the retail industry.

In this month’s issue we rev up our engines at the fantastic new Harley-Davidson® dealership; we cast our eye over the refurbished London Fields Cycles store; and we unveil a flagship store for Michael Kors.

Described as ‘a Harley enthusiast’s dream’, a spectacular new Harley-Davidson® dealership has just opened on the Lakeside retail park, West Thurrock, Essex. At 500m², the new facility is 30% larger than the current showroom, giving staff and customers a vastly improved space to enjoy. The building has been constructed on the site of a former car park on the company’s original site.

“The new showroom is a Harley enthusiast’s dream. Over the last five years our business has grown rapidly and it was necessary to expand our premises accordingly,” said Heather Whittaker, Brand Manager at Lakeside Harley-Davidson®.

Meanwhile, established in 1996, London Fields Cycles is an independent bike shop in the heart of Hackney. In 2015 the shop was ravaged by a fire in the front of the store, which caused the shop to close for a complete refurbishment. Since re-launching, London Fields Cycles now boasts a completely new layout, bespoke display units, a unified materials palette, lighting scheme and much, much more.

And finally, world-renowned designer of luxury clothing and accessories, Michael Kors, has recently introduced a flagship store on one of London’s major shopping destinations, Regent Street. Offering just about everything that even the savviest of shoppers could desire, the store presents its signature style where plush meets contemporary with a range of effortlessly cool products on display. Presenting glamour and style outside and in, Michael Kors Regent Street seamlessly combines a stunning bronze shopfront with chic interiors. Clean lines, stainless steel units and marble features complete the space, in addition to a special waterfall-style glass that has been incorporated throughout the store.

With all this and much more inside, please join us as we explore the projects which continue to shape the retail sector.
