Bison Plant Hire, a construction equipment hire company located in Cirencester, has bolstered its Kubota fleet following the addition of eight new excavators, bringing its total number of Kubota machines to 52.

Chepstow Construction Equipment, one of Kubota’s largest dealerships in the UK, has supplied Bison Plant Hire with 5 x U55-4 and 3 x U27-4 machines. The new machines will be hired out from the dealer’s head office in Gloucestershire.

The Kubota U mini excavator series are some of the most reliable and durable machines on the market, ultilising Kubota’s latest in house engine technology designed to offer maximum fuel efficiency, minimal noise and vibration, as well as low emission levels to meet current regulations. The machines also have a zero tail swing, which is perfect for applications within tight spaces such as housing projects.

Ian Whiting, Sales Director at CCE, commented,  “Bison has been trading for over thirty years and specialise in both operated and self-drive plant hire. This deal came about following a significant increase of customer demand for construction machinery, so we’re pleased to see our working relationship go from strength to strength.

“Bison has grown significantly over the past few years and that’s credit to the performance of the Kubota machines, the aftersales service the guys at Bison offer to their customers and the support we provide as their dealer.”

Guy Tomblin, Managing Director at Bison Plant Hire, added, ‘It’s fantastic to see the demand for construction machinery increase and the realisation that as a plant hire company we will continue to grow as a result. We’re reaping the rewards of the performances the Kubota machines provide and I believe the new excavators will be very popular additions to the fleet.

“As we look forward to a successful 2017, we’re excited to see which new machines Kubota will be introducing to the market.”

Bison has also put an order in for two new Kubota’s after the Executive Hire Show earlier this month, which will bring its Kubota fleet to 54 machines.
