Philip Walford has been appointed as Commercial Director at timber and builders merchants Covers.
Philip has spent 13 years working in the industry focusing on end to end category strategy and management and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the independent merchant. For the last five years, Philip has been working as Senior Category Manager at Grafton Merchanting.
Based at Covers’ headquarters in Chichester, West Sussex, Philip will be overseeing the procurement team and reviewing commercial, product, price and supplier strategy and engaging with major stakeholders to fulfil growth objectives and support Covers’ network of depots across the south of England.
