Landmark

Landmark is a brand new seven storey development at the gateway of Debden Broadway, Essex, paving the way for a multi-million pound regeneration of the area. Combining 64 apartments and a ground floor retail space made up of 6 commercial units, these homes will make a great start for anyone wanting to move into the area.

Main contractors Higgins Homes and architects Dovetail are creating 64 apartments with three one beds and 61 two beds. Each apartment is designed with a contemporary attitude in mind and outfitted to the same high specification that is standard across all Higgins Homes developments. There will also be provisions on some flats for features such as private balconies/terraces, as well as parking on site and cycle stores.

All of the apartments are fitted to the highest specification. The kitchens are a high gloss fitted kitchen by Commodore with a Smeg Cucina stainless steel electric oven and ceramic hob with Elica 60m telescopic extractor hood and under unit LED lighting. The bathrooms and en suites are fitted with a screen and shower over the bath, European wall tiling to selected areas and a chrome finished heated towel rail. Bedroom one in each apartment comes with fitted wardrobe with sliding doors, five amp ambient lighting and LED down lighters.

At Landmark, you will discover impressive living and entertaining spaces combined with an incredibly well connected location within easy reach of Debden Station and lively Loughton High Road, and views of the countryside and city beyond.

For his work on the development, Higgins Homes Project Manager Ken Andrews has been awarded an NHBC Pride in the Job Award. The NHBC Pride in the Job Award is the only UK-wide competition dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in house-building. The award has been instrumental in driving up the quality of new homes for 37 years.

Commenting on his award win, Ken told Premier Construction magazine that he was “very proud” to be recognised by NHBC.

Work on the development is due to be complete by August 2017.
