InterContinental London – The O2 Gains Three AA Rosettes For Peninsula RestaurantPeninsula Restaurant at InterContinental London – The O2 was awarded three AA Rosettes at the 2017 AA Hospitality Awards, which took place on Monday 25th September.

Headed up by Chef Tomas Lidakevicius and located on the Greenwich Peninsula, the 80-cover Peninsula Restaurant is located on the second floor of InterContinental London – The O2. Upon inspection, the AA Hotel Inspector commended the restaurant’s creative modern cooking style and spectacular views of London’s River Thames and Canary Wharf.

Tomas Lidakevicius, Head Chef at Peninsula Restaurant, commented: “I’m thrilled that Peninsula Restaurant has been awarded three AA Rosettes. As a team, we take tremendous pride in creating a memorable experience for our guests, and are constantly exploring new creative ways to do this.”

Head Chef Tomas Lidakevicius and his team take inspiration from modern and European cuisine. They also draw on the restaurant’s location in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where the spice trade was once active in the docks of East London.

Now in its 20th year, the glittering awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel celebrates England’s top hotels, restaurants and pubs and the people behind them. It also marks the release of the 2018 editions of the AA’s range of lifestyle guides: the AA Hotel Guide; AA Best Restaurant Guide and the AA B&B Guide.

InterContinental London – The O2 boasts 453 guest rooms, a luxury spa with 17m pool and eight treatment rooms, as well as some of London’s finest destination restaurants and bars, including Peninsula Restaurant, the informal open-kitchen Market Brasserie, the Clipper Bar, the rooftop Eighteen Sky Bar and ground floor Meridian Lounge with a riverside terrace.
