Train company TransPennine Express (TPE) is holding a four-day sale starting on Black Friday for journeys to towns and cities across the North and into Scotland.
More than 2.5million bargain seats are up for grabs and the sale will run from Friday 24 to Monday 27 November 2017.
Customers will be able to save 25 per cent off the price of Advance Purchase tickets when they buy online and discounted fares include:
Manchester to Glasgow – was £11.50 now £8.60
Manchester to Sheffield – was £5.00 now £3.80
Manchester to Liverpool – was £3.60 now £2.70
Manchester to York – was £7.50 now £5.60
Manchester to Leeds – was £6.50 now £4.90
Hull to Leeds – was £6.50 now £4.90
Newcastle to York – was £6.50 now £4.90
Preston to Edinburgh – was £10.00 now £7.50
Head of Marketing for TPE, Caroline Anchor said: “We wanted to make it easier for people to visit friends or family or plan a fun day out.
“Our Black Friday sale is only on for four days so I would encourage customers to book their Advance Purchase tickets as soon possible to avoid disappointment.”
The TPE network covers towns and cities right across the North and into Scotland with a huge variety of events and journeys for customers to choose from.
Destinations include, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Oxenholme, Penrith, Preston, Scarborough, Sheffield and York.

The tickets are for travel between Friday 24 November 2017 and Thursday 29 March 2018 (excluding travel on 22 December 2017 to Monday 1 January 2018) and are valid for journeys that are made on or connect to or from TPE services. For further savings, tickets can be purchased in conjunction with a valid railcard.
