Mortimer House launches

Mortimer House, a premium work and wellbeing destination is set to open its doors in London Fitzrovia. Intended to become a focal point for genuine creative communion and founded upon a philosophy that celebrates thoughtful balance in work and life, Mortimer House will be a home in the heart of London for members who wish to create, work and unwind in equal measure.

Designed by renowned New York architects AvroKO and housed in a majestic six-storey art deco building, Mortimer House provides fully furnished and intuitively designed workspaces across multiple floors. Harmoniously melding the post-modern design with exposed features from the original 1930’s building, these highly considered areas consist of private studies, individual bureaus, a variety of meeting rooms and communal living rooms.

Mortimer House will be a sophisticated, intimate environment that takes pride in warm hospitality. Personalised services will be available to members, such as ‘room service’ specialised menus, PA services and preferential rates at leading hotels around the world. The upper floors play host to a myriad of event spaces, intimate bars and balconies alongside a curated programme of special events, which will explore a range of diverse topics centred around professional growth, mindfulness, health and creative community.

With a shared focus on work and repose, Mortimer House also offers its members pause from the noise of metropolitan life, presenting a fully equipped gym and studio, as well as a series of fitness classes including Yoga, Pilates and TRX, among others. A dedicated Meditation Room will provide essential breathing space for quiet contemplation and relaxation.

One the ground floor you will find Mortimer House Kitchen, open to both members and the local community. Serving an eclectic mix of Mediterranean cuisine, the all-day menu will utilise sustainably sourced ingredients, prepared in the exposed kitchen for all to see. Featuring an open chef’s counter with seating and a refined conservatory area that can also be reserved for private dining; Mortimer House Kitchen will be an exceptional culinary experience in a relaxed environment.

Nestled in an enclave that has served as residency to some of the greatest cultural, literary and intellectual figures of the 20th century, Mortimer House provides a comprehensive space for inspiration and creative connection.

Guy Ivesha, entrepreneur and founder of Maslow’s Mortimer House said: “Mortimer House is a relaxed hospitality-led destination – one that goes far beyond the current workspace model. Our beautifully designed house takes pride in catering to those seeking the perfect work/life balance. We are dedicated to providing a premium and personal service that supports every member in reaching his or her potential.”
