Chicago Pneumatic will showcase its wide range of portable construction equipment at the 2018 Executive Hire Show, with hydraulic power packs, energy efficient LED light towers and reliable portable generators to be displayed on booth B4.

Colin Frost, Business Development Manager for Chicago Pneumatic in the UK and Ireland said: “We are pleased to be unveiling the latest powerful, durable and easy-to-service portable construction equipment from Chicago Pneumatic at the Executive Hire Show 2018. We have a special focus on our hydraulic power packs this year, which offer customers the convenience to power the tools they need on worksites quickly and easily.”

At the event, taking place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on 7-8 February, Chicago Pneumatic will exhibit its petrol-driven Pac P9 hydraulic power pack that comes equipped with hoses and a breaker. It represents a cost-effective choice, as the power output provided by this model when it runs a 25-32 kg breaker is equal to a 20-25 HP compressor operating a 32 kg breaker; which helps reduce fuel and maintenance costs.

Chicago Pneumatic’s hydraulic power packs are available in petrol and electrical driven versions. They are designed to provide portable power for a wide range of applications in the 20-40 l/min at 140-172 bar range.

Additionally, hydraulic power packs from Chicago Pneumatic are easy to operate and feature a variable-flow on/off valve that enables simple tool change and quick start-up. Moreover, the hydraulic power packs are compact and portable: they can be lifted by two people easily into a van for site-to-site transportation. To move them on-site, they can effortlessly be wheeled around by one person using the convenient foldable handle.

Visitors to Booth B4 will also have the opportunity to see the latest additions to Chicago Pneumatic’s range of light towers and handheld hydraulic tools. This includes the CPLB 2 LED light tower, an energy efficient plug-and-play light tower that can be plugged into any 110-volt power source including auxiliary power, directly into the grid, or a portable generator such as the CPPG 2.3, which will also be on show. In addition, the Red Hawk Road, a powerful motor breaker weighing only 22 kg that is ideal for concrete and asphalt breaking and cutting. It delivers enough impact energy to handle silica-rich rocks and reinforced concrete.
