Arora Group Puts its Heart into Wellbeing Week

The Arora Group, which manages over 4,000 hotel rooms in 11 UK locations, recently took part in its third Wellbeing Week across all its hotels for the benefit of the group’s more than 2,000 employees.

From 14 to 20 May, the Arora Group organised a calendar of daily health and wellness activities to appeal to all employees, including a healthy breakfast, sugar-free cooking competitions, organised walking and running clubs and Pilates classes.

Anne Davey, Talent and Culture team, Arora Group, said: “At Arora, we are committed to developing our teams to achieve their professional and personal goals, so taking part in wellbeing week was very important to us.

“Good work/life balance and body and mind health are critical to personal and organisational success. Employers have a big role to play in employees’ wellbeing, and for creating an enjoyable environment where people can thrive, both personally and professionally.”

The Arora Group will be gathering feedback from employees on what activities they found beneficial, with the aim of integrating some of them into the business on a longer-term basis.

The Arora Group manages hotels such as InterContinental London – The O2, Sofitel London Gatwick, Hilton London Gatwick, Novotel London Stansted, Holiday Inn London – Heathrow T5, Arora Gatwick Crawley, and Sofitel London Heathrow, as well as several other hotels which are currently under development
