Discover Lost & Co

Lost & Co Restaurant, Putney

Serving the very best in ‘cityscape’ classics from pizza to homemade hot dogs and chicken wings, Lost & Co is the ultimate in urban dining.

Previously known as Citizen Smith, the new Putney restaurant-come-bar strikes the balance between trendy and functional. Among the wooden paneling, pub-like furniture and simple bar sit flashes of eclectic, edgy designs. From one feature wall covered in an array of drawers, mirrors and paintings all squashed together at haphazard angles through to the Lost & Co graffiti art by the door, there’s a mix of funky design touches that really show a flair for the creative.

Kai Interior Design was behind the unique interior of the site. Founded in 2007 by Michaela Reysenn, Kai Design is an interior design and consultancy practice providing services to some of the biggest and most innovative bar and restaurant projects in the UK. The practice offers a range of complete design services and has previously been shortlisted for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

Creativity doesn’t end with design; Lost & Co offers a beer and cocktail list to suit even the most discerning palette. A line up of local craft beers and ciders on draught is complimented by a London breweries monthly showcase. Cocktails will follow a seasonal and innovative theme whilst still being fun, using a selection of home infused spirits and shrubs to invigorate the cocktail list.

As for food, expect some old favourites with a twist- try the chicken wings in a peanut and strawberry sauce. The chicken wings are a good quality meat and the peanut sauce is subtly sweet, the small pieces of diced strawberry are delicate in flavour and work really well with the peanut tang for a delicious snack.

The pizza list is well priced and comprises of the some classic meaty numbers such as ‘The Predator’ and the ‘Cool Running’s Pizza’ which combines hot with sweet. There are also bespoke hotdogs on offer, from the huge ‘Traditional Do’, to the amusingly named ‘Dog on Heat’.
