Set up in 2005 by brothers Paul and John Nobes, Infinity Group is a Guernsey-based developer, working on a range of projects across the Island.
Over the past eight years the Infinity Group has grown substantially and now includes two project managers, a trainee project manager, two quantity surveyors, an accounts team, office staff and on site staff.
Speaking to Premier Construction Channel Islands, Infinity Group Co-Owner, Paul Nobes, said:
“At Infinity Group we develop all of our own projects, so we find the land and buildings ourselves. We have completed many interesting projects over the past eight years, with two of our most recent projects being Infinity Place and Infinity Crescent.”
Infinity Crescent on Park Street, comprises 11, one-bedroom contemporary flats, all designed to offer rather spacious interiors of approximately 70 sq meters. All the flats will be finished to a very high specification, with lifts to each floor.
Work began on Infinity Place in February 2013 and is currently on schedule for completion in February 2014.
Commenting on Infinity Place, Paul said:
“We bought the land for Infinity Place with permission to build nine flats; however, we have now altered the layout, the structure and the specification to accommodate 11 dwellings. The simple reason for the change was that we just were not happy with the original layout. So, we moved the staircase and this opened up a huge amount of space for two extra units, as well as providing increased living space within the existing nine units.”
Infinity Place includes a rear communal space with a barbecue area, whilst all flats from the second floor upwards include balconies.
Following hot on the heels of Infinity Place is Infinity Crescent, which is due to reach completion in April 2014.

Situated on Stanley Road, St Peter Port, Infinity Crescent is a stunning new development, comprising 11 affordable, contemporary homes. Once complete, the two-bedroom houses will include a fantastic array of fixtures and fittings.
Each of the new units will include a stylish ground floor living area with integrated storage, kitchen and WC, whilst the first floor includes two spacious bedrooms and a shower room. The bedrooms will include Italian designer wardrobes, whilst the kitchen will include a full range of integrated high quality Siemens appliances.
In addition to the excellent features on offer inside the homes at Infinity Crescent, each unit has its own patio with hedge boundaries and access to a communal garden that will be installed into the centre of the curved development. Two underground parking spaces per dwelling are also being included as part of the landscaping work, along with an outdoor walkway that offers access to each property.
The timber-frame and airtight construction with a heat-recovery ventilation system all mean the development will be thermally efficient.
The site also includes the Georgian-style Infinity Terrace at the front, which is a run of four three-bedroom terraced houses and private fenced gardens. A new build one bedroom maisonette link-building is over an archway on the service road and has the same styling and high spec.
“With this project we have tried to maximize the space to maximize the living areas. The front of the development is very traditional, although internally the design is very modern. Infinity Crescent is ideal for first time buyers or those wanting to downsize.”
Keen not to rest when there is still so much more to do, Infinity Group has a number of projects in the pipeline, including a mixed-use development in Upham’s Yard, as well as a large open market house which will be redeveloped into first time buyer units.
